Blogging Eve

Eve is probably one of the hardest games to blog about. If you’re pottering around running missions or trading then you don’t exactly have exciting stories to tell, and if you’re part of an alliance that is doing exciting things you have to be really careful about what you say because most of your interesting information is sensitive. Eve on my Mac, and time to annoy another trader.

With yesterday's announcement of BootCamp I now have a shiny XP partition on my MacBook Pro that runs Eve very nicely. This is perfect as it means I can play while sitting in the garden with a beer during the summer, which is my play style of choice. It also means that I can trade in front of the TV, which is nice. My trading empire has reached an interesting point with all my high profit routes being camped by other players. Stupid Buggy Game

So there I was... I was, to be honest, farming a level 3 mission in my Megathron and so it was pretty easy. I warped in but what was that? No enemies on the scanner. Next thing you know I'm warp scrambled and taking serious damage, but I can't return fire because there's nobody there. One pop later and I'm in my pod with a Megathron kitted out in tech 2 goodness destroyed because of a game bug. I'd petition, but the wouldn't be able to tell that anything went wrong from their logs. So, another 100,000,000 from the trading account...
