Log in. Do mission. Go play something else.

If you solo Eve then you're missing out on most of the game, but if you don't put enough time in the you're missing out of the multiplayer side as well. I'm putting in so little time nowadays that even logging in to set new skills is a rarity (finishing off a load of level 5s does that for you). I may do a mission every week or so just to remind myself how to play (and a single mission can be quite fun after a week or two away) but since I have no desire to throw myself at galactic politics at the moment I'm at something of a loss as to what to do.

Skills wise I'm doing OK. I decided to finally go for Caldari Battleship 5 for the hell of it (well, 5% off my rate of fire doesn't hurt) but there's a point at which tech 2 cruises just don't gain much from that extra 5%. Somewhere during that particular skill I broke 30million skill points, which is a nice round number which annoys me no end. I want to be dedicated enough to play the game properly but no corp worth joining would want my unpredictable attention span.

Maybe the faction stuff in Kali will allow me to find the more drop-in style game that I'm looking for at the moment, but I'm not holding my breath.

The dumb part is that I don't want to unsubscribe. I love the game, but it's me that's wrong at the moment.

In the meantime training Heavy Assault Ships 5 is looking mighty tempting and that'll keep me busy for a few more weeks.
