BootCamp and virtualisation

I've been getting on very well with BootCamp recently, and I'm perfectly able to play a couple of games on my Mac and run a few annoyingly PC only pieces of software. As far as solutions go it's prefect except for the fact that digital audio out doesn't work and when you plug headphones in the speakers keep working. Yesterday I had to do a hard reset because every application had a spinning beachball of death. I'm also afraid to leave Rosetta applications running all the time becuse they'll...
