Oops...my bad. This is a few days old now - clearly I wasn't paying as much attention to matters as I ought to. I'm not really a very good primary news source, thinking about it:

GU Comics: Consumer Alert Lifted

Only fair to kick up as much of a fuss about the problem being fixed, as I did when it was caused. We at Van Hemlock do not condone sensationalism! From the look of it, EI Interactive, North American operators of Horizons, seem to have sorted out a more secure and proven payment solution than the one that got them in this mess in the first place and are now using 'Pay By Touch' - with the online shopaholic's favourite, PayPal, to follow soon. I don't personally know much about the game, or these current billing issues, but Woody's opinion on the situation seems good enough for me - looks like Horizons is now safe to play, or more precisely, pay for again. Hurrah!

I still think EI are a bit out of their depth, to be honest, but this recent and relatively decisive action seems to bode fairly well for their ability to cope with the nightmare than running an online game must be like, and Horizons doesn't look out fo the count yet, or indeed, soon. Bravo!
