Just a quickie; seems that SOE have given everyone who ever played Planetside a free month, on the house. They could have done a better job of publicising it mind you, and I only found out about it by pure chance. Finding a serene beauty in dead and dying things as I sometimes do, I like to look in on the Planetside forums from time to time, and today, stumbled across this:
Planetside Forums: All Old Accounts Reactivated!
A quick check on my Station.com accounts page does indeed show that I'm entitled to play Planetside gratis until 20th Jan 2008. I probably missed a week or two already, but a decent fortnight back on Auraxis sounds like just the thing to blow some cobwebs out.
Interestingly, both my old paid account, and my more recent freebie Reserves account show this reactivation, so if you only ever popped in on the Reserves, you can probably get back in too. Looking forward to getting at my BR23 chap though! Do check your own Station.com Subscription Status page though - it may just be a clerical error in my own personal favour, and despite my email address being correctly filled in, I'd not heard anything at all about this through the 'Official' channels, which may go some way to explaining it's low numbers these days. Hah! Not often I get to do actual News first!
